It seems that traveling in our own back-yard, so to speak, often takes a back seat to opportunities to see the rest of our great world. Although young compared to most of the world, our home country has its own diverse scenery and culture with a whole lot to offer. Darned if I don't start experiencing and capturing more of the close at hand beauty I often take for granted.
