This trip occurred after two years of COVID hell. Like many of you, we were eager to resume travel to somewhere other than our backyard or local surroundings. Although, we did tempt fate without consequences with some  travels in the U.S. in 2020 & 21. We had a wonderful excuse to return to Switzerland. It was to the wedding of our friends (more like our family) Iris and Sui.

​Kathleen is in love with Zermatt and she couldn't wait to return to Switzerland after being there in BC (before Curt). I can understand why she loves this small country with it's scenic beauty and diversity in many aspects. For years we had been promising our Swiss extended family that we would visit and I'm happy we finally did. There is a price to pay for experiencing all this country has to offer. Have plenty of finances available, brush up on your language skills and get ready to figure out if you're in the part of the country that speaks German, French, Italian or Romansh.
