Our son's graduation from high school presented a perfect opportunity to celebrate with a trip to this outdoor play land. On this two week vacation we started in the cloud forest of Monteverde, then to the volcano region of Arenal, traveled west to the beaches of Manual Antonio and finished up in a Drake Bay rain forest eco-lodge. We would have been lost without the assistance of Rayna Levin (Costa Rica Outdoors) for arranging hotels, transportation, tours and an overall awesome time!

​Costa Rica - 2015

This was our second visit to Costa Rica and an opportunity to visit areas we did not get to in 2011. While attending a fundraiser for Kawasaki Disease, it's quite possible that my wife had a wee bit of wine and secured the winning bid for a week condo stay in Ocotal. This is in the Northern Pacific region of the country. We brought along a few family and friends for the week of sight-seeing. eating, drinking and lounging. My wife, son and I then continued on to Tortuguero - Northern Caribbean and  Poas/La Paz in Central Costa Rica to get in some hiking and lots of animal viewing. The pictures are fairly standard family vacation experiences (wonderful as they were) as I did not run off to explore out of the way photo opportunities and adventures this time.
